Updated
April 26 2008

The following Privacy Policy demonstrates our commitment to full disclosure regarding privacy issues. Since we gather certain types of information about our subscribers and clients, we want you to fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

Information We Collect
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site subscriptions. We also collect information provided to us in the course of a subscription. A "subscription" occurs when a consumer registers for Bisner Consulting Services, either via registration at our website, via opt-in or opt-out co-registration at a marketing partner's website, or via an opt-out permission/opt-out mailing, register forms or even when filling out forms to request information regarding services we provide. Bisner Consulting Services collects personally identifiable information about subscribers, based on information provided to us at the time of registration, subscriber interaction and response to subsequent electronic mailings and website use, and perhaps information provided by marketing partners or data aggregators. Information collected may include, but is not necessarily limited to: name, email address, postal address, gender, telephone number, activity, interests, and other demographic information. This information enables us to better tailor our content to subscribers' needs and to help our clients to promote and sell their products and services. The information we collect is used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by e-mail at info@bisnerconsulting.com

Information Gathering
With respect to cookies, Bisner Consulting Services currently minimizes the use of cookies to only those necessary to properly route subscribers, and customize the subscriber's experience. Bisner Consulting Services provides links to advertiser and partner websites and these sites may choose to use cookies to better promote their products and services. However, we also reserve the right to use cookies to store visitors’ preferences, to record session information and to customize Web page content on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends. With respect to contact with our subscribers and their inquiries, subscribers have the ability to contact Bisner Consulting Services to provide us with their feedback. Bisner Consulting Services uses this information to respond to the subscriber and analyze customer service issues. With respect to usage tracking, Bisner Consulting Services tracks information related to the electronic mailings and web pages viewed by subscribers, as well as the hyperlinks clicked by subscribers, while viewing our emails or visiting our websites. Log Files are used to track and monitor subscriber usage.

Sharing of Information                                                                                                         From time to time you may notice offers from outside companies advertised on our Web site. We take measures to select product or service providers that are responsible and afford privacy protections to their customers. However, we cannot make any representations about the practices and policies of these companies. We may enter into strategic marketing alliances or partnerships with third parties who may be given access to personal information including your name, address, telephone number and email for the purpose of providing you information regarding products and services that we think will be of interest to you. In connection with strategic marketing alliances or partnerships, we will retain all ownership rights to the information, and we will not share information regarding your personal financial data.

Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties?
We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, Web site traffic patterns and related Web site information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

What about Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information?
We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

What About Other Web Sites Linked to Our Web Site?
We are not responsible for the practices employed by Web sites linked to or from neither our Web site nor the information or content contained therein. Often links to other Web sites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our Web site.

E-mail
From time to time, we make our subscriber or general e-mail lists available to other reputable organizations whose products or services we think you might find interesting. All information provided by you, as well as any additional information we may lawfully collect, may be shared or used to support our services and data sharing with marketing companies, advertising agencies, compilers, and data companies. If you do not want us to share your e-mail address or subscriber information with other companies or organizations, or if you wish to prevent your information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected, please let us know by e-mailing or writing to us at info@bisnerconsulting.com  and tell us that you wish to "unsubscribe" or opt out of receiving future e-mails. Currently Bisner Consulting Services does not offer subscribers a means by which to completely delete personal information from our databases. Instead, subscription status is set to "unsubscribed" to suppress inclusion from future e-mails. Bisner Consulting Services' unsubscribe process impacts only the future delivery of electronic mailings disseminated by us on its own behalf. Former Bisner Consulting Services subscribers may still receive electronic mailings sent on behalf of third parties who may have received your information prior to your opt-out notification.

Modifications to Privacy Policy
However, from time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.

How Do We Protect Your Information?
Information Security: We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.
Evaluation of Information Protection Practices: Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information.
